“S&P lays out plans for green bond and ESG market tools” – Business Green – September 9, 2016

On September 9, 2016 Business Green reported that S&P has launched plans for the Green Bond Evaluation Tool, which “would identify projects that aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions or mitigate the impact of natural catastrophes.”

According the article, S&P has also launched a proposal for an Environmental, Social and Govenrance (ESG) Assessment Tool.

“S&P said the two tools would help to provide market standardization as interest in socially responsible financing continues to rise.”
