On November 21-22, 2020 Geoffrey Mazullo, Adjunct Professor, School of American Law (SAL) conducted a two-day online course on corporate governance as part of the SAL Caucasus and SAL Turkey. 39 students and recent graduates in accounting and law from the Caucasus and Turkey participated in the course.
On November 27, 2020 Geoffrey Mazullo, Adjunct Professor, SAL conducted an online review session for Central Asian students who first viewed the recording of the corporate governance course from the previous weekend. Nine students and recent graduates in accounting and law participated in the review session.
On November 28-29, 2020 Geoffrey Mazullo, Adjunct Professor, SAL conducted a two-day online course on corporate governance as part of the SAL Greece. 21 students and recent graduates in law from across the Balkans participated in the course.
The courses include a comparative analysis of corporate governance models (Anglo-UK, German and Japanese), complemented by a discussion of case studies about corporations in a number of jurisdictions (France, Germany, India, Japan, Poland, USA and Sweden). The course also charts the progression from corporate governance to ESG (environmental, social and governance) investing.
