Three new stock exchanges join UN SSE; five exchanges provide or publish ESG reporting guidance for listed companies – SSE Initiative – February 2019

In February 2019, the UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) Initiative announced that during December 2018 and January 2019 the three new stock exchanges had joined SSE:  Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) and Saudi Arabia’s stock exchange, Tadawul.

During the same time period, the following stock exchanges published guidance for listed companies on ESG reporting:  Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE), National Stock Exchange of Costa Rica and the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Furthermore, Qatar Stock Exchange launched its online ‘Qatar Stock Exchange Sustainability and ESG Platform” and Nasdaq Nordic launched an ESG Data Portal.
