On November 25, 2015 the Indian independent corporate governance research and advisory firm InGovern published a report entitled, “Pay-Ratio Disclosures by Nifty-50 Companies.”
The executive summary reads as follows: “As per the Companies Act, 2013, Indian companies have started making director pay-ratio disclosures in annual reports. This report analyses the pay-ratio disclosures made by Nifty-50 companies and provides key-takeaways. The report also compares Indian pay-ratio disclosure regulations with those in the US.”
