“Emerging markets equities: Active vs. passive” – Pensions & Investments – November 19, 2015

Guido Giammattei, portfolio manager and head of research for RBC Global Asset Management’s London based emerging markets team, contributed an article to Pensions & Investments on November 19, 2015 in which we recommends that long-term investors consider active vs. passive management of emerging markets equities.  He outlines five “conditions specific to emerging market present active management with an opportunity to take advantage of the recent increase in volatility.”  One of the conditions is his posit that “implementing ESG factors can reduce risk.”
