In a press release distributed on March 10, 2015 the Nairobi Securities Exchange announced that it has joined the Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative (SSE).

“Nairobi Securities Exchange becomes the 18^th member of the SSE initiative worldwide and the 4^th major SSE Partner Exchange in Africa, alongside Egypt, Nigeria and South Africa.”
