“Solar innovation gives Nicaraguan community a brighter future” – GreenBiz – March 13, 2014

In an article published on March 13, 2014 on GreenBiz, Laurie Guevara-Stone describes the work of Grupo Fenix, a Nicaraguan non-governmental organization, to reintegrate landmine survivors back into society.  The NGO trained landmine survivors to make solar panels; the solar culture has transformed Sabana Grande, a small community in northern Nicaragua on the border with Honduras.
